Extractor tool for windscreen wiper arm

Situation: 

A new extractor tool is required to remove the windscreen wiper arm.

The new extractor tool has been made necessary by the very small separation between the
base of the wiper arm and the body on the E38 
and by the modified rim width on the E46.

To keep the number of different extractor tools to a minimum, a universal tool has been
developed. This extractor can be used on all earlier vehicles as well as on future models.

Please refer to enclosure 1.

Procedure:

This special tool will be supplied automatically in accordance with the current tools
agreement.
