Measuring and test equipment
Operating instructions
Situation:
All the operating instructions for measuring and test equipment presented in
SI 1 02 93 (648) have been revised and updated.
Two files with table of contents and title cards are available to keep the current operating
instructions in booklet form.
In future, new publications or revisions to operating instructions will only be issued as TIS
documents.
To locate individual operating instructions in the TIS, a multilingual instruction giving notes
on the search path is enclosed with the special tool.
The list in Enclosure 1 contains all operating instructions published to date, either in booklet
form or as a TIS document.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Note:
Operating instructions for mechanical special tools are also published as TIS
documents and can thus be found in Enclosure 1 with the operating instructions for
measuring and testing equipment.
Procedure:
Operating instructions in booklet form and files for keeping them in will still be supplied to
order.
Operating instructions are called up in the form of a TIS document directly from a hotspot in
Enclosure 1 of this Service Information bulletin and can be printed out.
