New adapter cable and pressing-out tool

Situation:
MRS 3 control unit (MRS 3 = Multiple Restraint System 3):
Diagnosis
The new MRS 3 control unit has been installed in all vehicles from
March 1999. A new adapter cable is required for connecting to measuring box 61 4 390
for troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Gas generator ignition
A new adapter cable is required to execute a controlled ignition of the pyrotechnic
components with the new MRS 3 control unit fitted from 03/99.
The new adapter cable has been added to wiring kit 62 1 400, introduced in 1997 for
scrapping used vehicle with pyrotechnic components. The price of this kit is adjusted
accordingly.

RDC control unit (RDC = tyre pressure control):
A new adapter cable is required for troubleshooting and diagnosis on the RDC control unit.
Note:
Deliveries will be made according to the country-dependent introduction
of RDC.
Pressing-out tool for SLK (SLK = lamella sensor contact):
A special pressing-out tool is required for workmanlike repairs on plug connections with
lamella sensor contacts manufactured by Kostal. This is to be stored in the case for the
release and pressing-out tool 61 1 150. To this end, the foam inlay has to be modified
slightly.
With immediate effect, the pressing-out tool and a new foam inlay are part of the scope of
delivery of the release and pressing-out tool 61 1 150. The price of the set is adjusted
accordingly.
Procedure:
Offer tools will automatically be distributed in accordance with the tools agreement.
