Conversion of adapter cable 61 2 390

Situation:

V-adapter cable 61 2 390 was introduced for diagnosis on the PDC (Park Distance
Control).

To ensure that the adapter cable remains usable for other diagnosis work in the future (e.g.
Vanos solenoid valves), the housing has to be removed. This means that the cost of an
additional V-adapter cable can be saved.

For detailed conversion instructions, please refer to Enclosure 1 .

Procedure:

All V-adapter cables 61 2 390 delivered before 02/2007 must be converted.

All V-adapter cables 61 2 390 from 02/2007 are supplied without a housing.
