5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Unfasten plug connections (1 and 2) on oxygen sensors and
remove wiring harness from end of engine.
Disconnect plug connection from VANOS solenoid valve.
Remove intake air manifold,
refer to 11 61 050.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from alternator.
Release nut (2) and remove line.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 31 1AZ.
Disconnect plug connection (1) on oil pressure switch.
