5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Press out output shaft with special tools 33 2 111/116/117.
Installation:
Draw in output shaft with special tools 33 2 115/116/118.
Support wheel carrier with workshop hoist.
Unfasten shock absorber from wheel carrier.
Installation:
Bush (1) in bore on wheel carrier.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 52 1AZ .
Unfasten control arm on wheel carrier.
Unfasten nut; if necessary, brace on hex head.
Installation:
Tapered pin and bore free of grease. Replace nut.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 32 8AZ .
