Test adapter for EWS 3
E38, E39
Situation:
The test adapter with the order no. 61 3 190 and the 26-pin peripheral box with the order
no. 61 1 459 are required for carrying out diagnosis and fault finding on the electronic
vehicle immobiliser (EWS 3). The EWS system is installed as standard equipment in the
E38 from factory shutdown 96, E39 from 3/97 and in future series. Diagnosis is carried out
on the control unit and the peripherals.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied automatically in accordance with the current tools agreement.
