5 Series E39 540i (M62) TOUR
Fit special tool 36 1 410/422 (centering) on special tool
36 1 410/411 (rim mounting).
Ensure that lifter mount (1) is moved to one side.
Fit rim with remaining tire (2) and support ring (3) on special tool
36 1 410/411 (rim mounting).
Press remaining tire (2) underneath lifter mount (1).
Caution!
Following components of support ring must not be located in
press-off area before lifter mount:
(1)
Balance plug
(2)
Support ring seam
(3)
Wheel electronics
Align press-off area of support ring so that lifter mount (1) is
located opposite spacer nub (2).
