Removing and installing/replacing vibration
damper (S62)
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
Remove fan cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Remove alternator drive belt,
refer to 11 28 010.
Remove A/C compressor drive belt,
refer to 11 28 050.
Release screws, remove cover and belt pulley.
Attach special tool 11 0 270 to vibration damper.
Note:
Protect oil sump against damage.
Lay wood (1) between oil sump and special tool 11 0 270.
Release screws (2).
Note:
Washers are fitted under screws (2).
Remove vibration damper.
