5 Series E39 M5 (S62) SAL
Disconnect plug connections (1).
Unclip cables (2) from cable guides.
Disconnect plug connection on throttle actuator (1), idle speed
control valve (2) and electric changeover valve (3).
Disconnect plug connection (1) of left and right knock sensor pair
from cable duct.
Raise both cable ducts (1) approx. 2 cm.
Installation:
Check seating of rubber grommets on ignition coil cables.
Unclip both cable strips (2) from fuel injectors, tilt up and tie back
(e.g. to engine hood).
