Replacing fuel pump relay
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Fold down right side trim in luggage compartment.
Detach fuel pump relay (1).
After removal of fuel pump relay and during engine starting
sequence:
-
the fuel pump no longer operates,
-
the engine does not start.
Note:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
