About the E64 6 Series
The E64 is the convertible of the second-generation 6 Series, made from 2003 to 2010 on a shortened E60 5 Series chassis. Its styling and iDrive were controversial at first. The M6, from 2005, shared the S85 V10 of the E60 M5.
What these manuals cover
- Six-cylinder: the 630i (N52, N53) and the 635d diesel (M57T2).
- V8: the 645Ci and 650i (N62).
- The M6 (S85 V10).
Tip: these are BMW factory manuals, listed by model, engine and body rather than by year. The code in brackets is the engine (M54, N52 and so on), and the last word is the body: SAL saloon, TOUR Touring (estate), COUPE, CONVER convertible, COMP Compact (hatchback), ROADST roadster, OFFRD for the X models. The E63 and E60 5 Series manuals cover the same engines.
