7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Detach vacuum hoses (2, 3 and 5) from vacuum line (6).
Installation:
Layout of vacuum hoses,
refer to 11 74 ...
Loosen screws (1).
Disconnect vacuum line (2) and lay to one side.
Note:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Release lock (1) and disconnect fuel line (3) from preheating
valve.
Open hose holder (2).
Remove fuel line (3) and secure to engine.
Disconnect plug (4).
Press lock (5) and detach fuel feed line (6).
Secure fuel feed line (6) to engine.
Release clamps (1) on EGR valves.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Detach pressure hoses (2 and 3).
Installation:
Do not mix up pressure hoses (2 and 3).
Caution!
Fit charge air hoses dry and without grease.
