Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
lower oil sump section (M67)
(engine removed)
Drain engine oil,
refer to 00 00 250.
Disconnect plug (1).
Release screws.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 13 2AZ.
Remove lower oil sump section (2).
Lift off gasket (1).
Installation:
- Clean sealing faces on lower oil sump section (2).
- Replace gasket (1).
- Do not lubricate gasket.
Caution!
If the oil sump (2) is replaced, it is necessary to convert the oil
level switch with a new gasket to the new oil sump.
