7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Rotate crankshaft at vibration damper with special tool 11 6 480
until slide of special tool 11 8 180 can engage in spline teeth.
To lock the flywheel in position:
-Push slide (1) upwards up to stop into spline teeth of flywheel.
-Tighten down screw (2).
Release screws (1) on vibration damper (2).
Installation note:
Install new screws.
Tighten screws with special tool 00 9 120 .
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 23 2AZ .
