7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Remove radiator cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Drain coolant (from radiator only),
refer to 17 00 005.
Arrangement of Common Rail System (M67),
refer to 13 53 ...
Release locks on water hose (1). Remove hose (2).
Follow instructions for working on cooling system,
refer to General Information MG17.
Note:
Cylinder head cover is removed in this illustration.
Release union nut (1) with special tool 13 5 020.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 8AZ.
Raise pressure line (2) a little.
Release hose clamp (1) and detach fuel hose (2).
Note:
Cylinder head cover is removed in this illustration.
Installation:
Replace hose clamp (1).
