7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Suspend special tool 11 0 020 (1) in special tool 00 0 200.
Hook chain 11 0 022 (2), middle chain, into rear suspension lug.
Hook chain 11 0 023, long chain, into front suspension lug.
Slide special tool 00 0 200 onto supports 00 0 208 up to rear
stop.
Move front wheels over to left lock.
Lower transmission.
Unfasten screws.
Pull out transmission towards rear approx. 2 cm.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 00 1AZ.
Protect torque converter from slipping out.
To do this, insert special tool 24 4 131 / 24 4 135 in opening
of transmission housing and clamp torque converter in place.
Pull transmission backwards and lower.
