7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
On both engine mounts:
Remove vacuum hose.
Unscrew nuts.
Raise engine until fan touches cowl.
Installation:
Retainer (1) must rest in bore (2).
Release holders on transmission and steering fluid lines.
Unfasten nut.
Press track rod off pitman arm with special tool 32 1 190.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Ball stud and bore free of grease.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 3AZ.
