7 Series E38 L7 (M73) SAL
Note:
After releasing the screws securing the center door, gently
open the center door.
Note down the position and number of washers between the
center door and body in the area of the securing screws (1...3).
Caution!
Make sure that the screws (1) do not drop in body cavities.
Note:
Center door does not have an end stop; when opening, do not
damage center door and adjoining body components.
Release screws (1) and open center door.
Note:
Ensure that zinc film is attached to both sides of the bores in
the body.
Replace damaged zinc film.
Note:
Ensure that zinc film is attached to the contact surfaces of the
center door on the body.
Replace damaged zinc film.
