Carefully close front and rear doors.

Align strip (1) (with seal) so that gap (A) to front and rear door
strips is the same, then snap strip (1) into place on door panel.

Bonding of front trim strip:

Open front and rear doors.

To aid installation of trim strip, coat seal of trim strip (1) with
rubber protection coating agent (sourcing reference: BMW Parts
Service).

Clean trim strip (1) completely and treat area in adhesive channel
(2) with BMW-approved materials (sourcing reference: BMW Parts
Service),

refer to 51 13 ... .

Note:

Note specified ventilation time!

No adhesive is applied in area (A).

(A) = 10 mm

Clean edge of side window (1) at front and treat with BMW-
approved materials (repair kit, sourcing reference: BMW Parts
Service),

refer to 51 13 ... .
