Replacing battery positive lead (between
battery positive terminal, starter motor and
alternator) (M57)
Read fault memory. Switch off ignition.
Observe safety instructions for handling vehicle battery.
Observe instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery.
Disconnect battery negative lead and lay to one side.
Release nut.
Fold down protective cap (1).
Release nut (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 51 4AZ.
Remove battery positive lead from support point.
Unclip battery positive lead from retainers.
