Replacing left engine support arm (M54)
Special tools required:
•
00 0 200
Remove intake filter housing.
Remove air duct for intake air.
Release engine mounts on left and right from above.
Raise engine with special tool 00 0 200 , described in
Removing oil sump.
Remove oil dipstick guide tube.
Remove engine splash guard.
Remove left output shaft.
Remove air duct from alternator.
Detach engine support arm from engine block.
Installation:
Observe different thread length.
Install longer screw at top center.
