Removing and installing/replacing front
stabilizer (M57, M57TU, N62, N62/S)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove stabilizer link on both sides from stabilizer
•
Remove left steering gear cover and release from front axle
carrier on right
•
Release front axle carrier
After installation:
•
Carry out steering angle sensor adjustment
Lower front axle.
Feed out stabilizer towards rear.
Installation:
Keep retaining bracket, rubber mount and stabilizer clean and free
from oil and grease.
Check rubber mount, replace if necessary.
