Removing and installing/replacing intercooler
(M57T2, M47T2, N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove fan cowl
•
Unlock and disconnect left and right charge-air hoses
•
Remove front underbody protection
•
Remove trim on radiator at bottom
Important!
Coat sealing rings of quick-connect couplings with antiseize
agent.
Pressure pipes cannot be fitted without antiseize agent.
Release screw.
Release screw.
Remove intercooler (1).
Installation:
Charge-air hoses must audibly snap into place.
Assemble vehicle and check system for leaks.
