Removing and installing/replacing pipe
between intercooler and intake manifold
(M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove acoustic cover
•
Remove underbody protection
Unclip Bowden cable for engine bonnet/hood actuator from
transverse reinforcement (1).
Release screws on both sides
Tightening torque, 51 71 4AZ
Remove cross-brace (1).
Press out retainer (1) from charge air hose (2) in direction of
arrow.
Unlock plug (3) from temperature sensor and detach.
Pull down charge air hose in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Lubricate connection for charge air hose with slip paste and firmly
connect hose. Retainer must audibly snap into place.
