Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove underbody protection
•
Remove heat shields
•
Remove exhaust system (not M57T2)
Supporting transmission:
Support with special tools 23 4 050 , 23 0 132 and 00 2 030 .
Secure transmission with tensioning strap (1).
Tasks are described in Transmission bracket.
Release screws.
Tightening torque 22 32 4AZ
.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 22 32 5AZ
.
Remove cross-member.
