X Series E83 X3 2.0d (M47T2) OFFRD
Unlock and disconnect plug housing (1) using a screwdriver (2).
Disconnect cable (1) issuing from fuel level sensor using special
tool 61 0 307 from special tool kit
61 0 300 .
Disconnect lines (1) from guides in upward direction.
Press lug (2) towards rear and disengage fuel pump with surge
chamber upwards in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Make sure that surge chamber engages correctly in bracket.
Insert surge chamber into lower guide straight and then snap into
place at top.
Lines (1) must be firmly anchored with the bead in the line
holders.
Important!
Make sure that fuel pump (1) is correctly positioned in surge
chamber.
Line connections must be parallel to both line holders (see
illustration).
