Incorrect material folding pattern
Convertible top cover folds inwards
Correct material folding pattern
Convertible top cover folds outwards
Remedy:
•
Manual assistance of convertible top folding action while opening.
•
Leave correctly folded convertible top cover in lowered position for several hours (e.g.
over night).
•
Check alignment of support bracket with respect to the X-hooks.
•
The locking element must be locked in the lowered position after three complete
closing and opening operations.
2. Check clearance between main link and roof link.
Fault profile
Collision point (1) between main link (2)
and roof frame link (3).
