Navigation Antenna Replacement
NAVIGATION ANTENNA REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.
2. Use a small wide-bladed plastic tool to release the adhesive. Remove the global positioning system (GPS) antenna from the rear shelf.
3. Disconnect the GPS antenna cable connector.
4. Clean the adhesive residue from the rear shelf using a razor blade, an isopropyl alcohol pad, and a clean lint-free cloth.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Clean the surface of the rear shelf in the GPS antenna mounting location, using an isopropyl alcohol pad and a clean lint-free cloth.
2. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive of the GPS antenna.
IMPORTANT: Do not touch the adhesive backing.
3. Install the GPS antenna to the rear shelf surface.Press the GPS antenna into place for approximately 30 seconds until fully seated.
4. Connect the GPS antenna cable connector.
5. Install the rear shelf trim panel.
