Power Steering Return Hose Replacement (RPO L26/3.8L)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle  (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the power steering gear heat shield. Refer to Steering Gear Heat Shield Replacement  (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering

Gear/Service and Repair).

3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

4. Remove the power steering return hose (4) from the power steering gear.

5. Compress the clamp and disconnect the power steering return hose from the power steering pump.
