11. Remove the accumulator from the accumulator bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Add the proper amount of refrigerant oil to the accumulator. Refer to Refrigerant System Capacities.

2. Install the accumulator to the bracket.

3. Install the accumulator bracket bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install new sealing washer to the compressor hose.
5. Install the compressor hose to the accumulator.

6. Install the compressor hose nut to accumulator.

Tighten the nut to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

7. Install the new O-rings to the accumulator tube.
8. Install the accumulator tube to the accumulator.
9. Install the accumulator tube nut.

Tighten the nut to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
