Rack Bearing Preload
Make adjustment with front wheels raised and steering wheel centered. Ensure the steering wheel returns to center position after adjustment.
1. Loosen locknut, then turn adjuster plug clockwise until it bottoms in housing, then back off 50 ° to 50 °.
2. Torque locknut to 50 ft. lbs. while holding adjuster plug.
