Rear Door Striker: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Striker Replacement - Door (Rear): Removal Procedure

1. Mark the position of the striker.
2. Remove the striker screws.
3. Remove the striker.
4. Remove the spacers, if equipped.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Striker Replacement - Door (Rear): Installation Procedure

1. Install any spacers that were removed.
2. Install the striker at the matchmark.

3. Install the striker screws.

Tighten
Tighten door lock striker screws to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

4. Clean off the matchmark.
