Hood Hinge: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Hood Hinge Replacement: Removal Procedure
1. Remove the hood.
2. Remove the air in let screens.
3. Remove the hinge bolts from the fender.
4. Remove the hinge bolts from the hood.
5. Remove the hood hinge.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Hood Hinge Replacement: Installation Procedure
1. Install the hood hinge.
2. Install the hinge bolts to the fender and install the hinge bolts to the hood.
Tighten
Tighten the hinge bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
3. Install the air inlet screens.
4. Install the hood.
5. Adjust the hood.
