Lock Actuator Replacement - Front Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Lock Actuator Replacement (Front Door): Removal Procedure

1. Disable SIR system if equipped with SIR side impact system.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the Inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate if equipped.
5. Remove the front door inside handle rod.
6. Remove all rods that attach to the lock.
7. Remove the front door actuator electrical connectors.
8. Remove the front door lock screws.
9. Remove the front door lock from the door.

Lock Actuator Replacement (Front Door): Removal Procedure

10. Remove the front door lock actuator screws.
11. Remove the front door lock actuator from the door lock.
