REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Cable and Rear Guide Replacement: Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT:  Always replace the cables and the rear guide in pairs.

1. Remove the sunroof actuator. 
2. Remove the water gutter. 
3. Remove the screw from the sunroof actuator cable stop.
4. Remove the sunroof actuator cable stop from the sunroof actuator.
5. Remove the slide and/or guide from the sunroof actuator.

6. Remove the pin and C-clip.
7. Disconnect the cable and the rear guide from the slide.

INSTALLING PROCEDURE

Cable and Rear Guide Replacement: Installation Procedure

1. Install the cable and the rear guide to the slide. Sparingly lubricate cables, use Silicon Grease, GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent.
2. Install the pin and C-clip.
