Brake Hose/Line: Service and Repair
Front Brake Hose Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the brake lining sensor clip (1) from the front brake hose (2).
4. Use a backup wrench on the hose fitting to remove the front brake caliper pipe (1) from the front brake hose (3). Ensure not to bend the bracket or
to bend the brake pipe.
5. Remove the brake pipe retainer (2) from the front brake hose (3).
6. Remove the front brake hose from the mounting bracket.
7. Remove the retaining clip from the front brake hose at the strut.
8. Remove the front brake hose from the strut guide.
