Catera V6-3.0L VIN R (1997)
2. Install the camshaft gear bolt.

Use the relevant Camshaft Gear Locking Tools to hold the camshaft gear and the camshaft in place while tightening the camshaft gear bolt.

Use the Torque/Angle Meter to tighten the camshaft gear bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) + 60° + 15°.
3. Turn the crankshaft clockwise back to TDC.
4. Install the timing belt.
5. Adjust the timing belt.
6. Install the front timing belt cover.
7. Install the intake air resonator.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
9. Reprogram the applicable accessories.
