Drivers Side
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: This vehicle has a Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System. Refer to SIR Component Location View in order to determine
whether you are performing service on or near the SIR components or the SIR wiring. When you are performing service on or near the SIR
components or the SIR wiring, refer to SIR On-Vehicle Service information. Failure to follow the CAUTIONS could cause air bag deployment,
personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.
1. Disconnect the left (driver) side sound insulator positive locking tabs.
2. Remove the sound insulator.
3. Disconnect the left (driver) side front floor air outlet fastening clip.
4. Remove the front floor air outlet.
5. Turn the temperature sensor (1) 180 degrees.
6. Carefully remove the temperature sensor from the air distribution module.
7. Disconnect the electrical connection (1) from the temperature sensor.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the temperature sensor.
2. Carefully insert the temperature sensor into the air distribution module.
3. Turn the temperature sensor (1) 180 degrees.
4. Install the left (driver) side front floor air outlet.
5. Connect the air outlet fastening clip.
