Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
TP Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the sensor harness connector.
2. Remove the 2 mounting screws.
3. Remove the sensor from the throttle body.
Installation Procedure
Important: Move the throttle gently by hand. Ensure that TP sensor is correctly seated on the throttle shaft.
1. With the throttle closed, hold the sensor in place against the throttle body.
2. Install the 2 mounting screws.
3. Connect the sensor harness connector.
