44. Twist together one end of each wire on the driver deployment harness in order to short the wires.
45. Twist together one end of each wire on the passenger deployment harness in order to short the wires.
46. Remove the drop cloth from the vehicle.
47. Disconnect both harnesses from the vehicle.
48. Discard the harnesses.
49. Scrap the vehicle in the same manner as a non-SIR equipped vehicle.
50. If one or both of the modules did not deploy, perform the following steps:
50.1. Remove the undeployed module(s) from the vehicle. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflator Module Replacement and Infl Rst Instrument Panel
Inflator Module under Air Bag / Service and Repair.
50.2. Temporarily store the module(s).
50.3. Call the Technical Assistance Group for further assistance.
