Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 42200 Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing Remover/Installer Bolt

-

J 42092 Front Lower Control Arm Horizontal Bushing Remover/Installer kit

-

J 21474-18318 Inch Nut

-

J 21474-5 Bushing Receiver

-

J 42112-4 Rear Differential Remover/Installer Tool

-

J 21474-19318 Inch Bolt

-

Or Equivalents

CAUTION:  To help avoid personal injury, when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle at the opposite end from
which you are removing components. The additional support will reduce the possibility of the vehicle falling off the hoist. When you are
removing major components from the vehicle while the vehicle is on a hoist, chain the vehicle frame to the hoist pads at the same end from
which you are removing the major components to prevent tip-off. If you fail to follow these preWARNINGary measures, vehicle damage,
serious personal injury or death may result.

1. Remove the lower control arm. 

2. Position the J 42091-1 and position the J 42092-2.
3. Press out the horizontal bushing.

4. Position the J21474-18, J21474-5, J42112-4 and position the J21474-19.
5. Press out the vertical bushing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Position the J21474-18, J21474-5, and position the J21474-19.
