Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Testing and Inspection
Struts or Shock Absorbers Noisy

1. Check all the mountings for condition.
2. Check all the mountings for proper tightening.
3. Refer to Step 3 of weak to jounce the vehicle to isolate the suspected unit if all the mountings are intact.
4. Replace the strut if the detected noise is any other sound than a hissing sound.
