Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair
2-3 Shift Solenoid Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the oil pan and filter.
2. Remove the electrical connector from solenoid valve.
3. Remove the retaining pin (2). Use pliers to pull pin out.
4. Remove the solenoid valve (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the solenoid valve (1).
2. Install the retaining pin (2). Use a soft mallet to drive pin in.
3. Install the electrical connector.
4. Install the main case oil pan and filter.
