Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
Oil Filter Adapter Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil filter.
2. Remove the A/C compressor and power steering drive belt.
Important: Do not disconnect the A/C pipes from the A/C compressor.
3. Remove the A/C compressor bolts and reposition the A/C compressor in order to gain access to the oil filter adapter fasteners.
4. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the oil filter adapter.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the oil filter adapter.
2. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the A/C compressor with the A/C pipes to the engine.
4. Install the A/C compressor and power steering drive belt.
5. Install the oil filter.
