Power Recliner Motor Replacement - Front Seat

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer toSIR Caution    in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer toSeat Replacement - Bucket   (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
2. Remove the power recliner position sensor. 
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.

4. Remove the recliner motor retaining nuts (1).
5. Slide the motor off of the shaft.

Installation Procedure

1. Slide the recliner motor on to the shaft

Notice:  Refer toFastener Notice    in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the recliner motor nuts (1).

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (88 lb in).

3. Install the electrical connector.
4. Install the recliner position sensor. 
5. Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer toSeat Replacement - Bucket   (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
