#1 Water Crossover
7. Remove the following components from the water crossover (1) if replacement is necessary:

The water crossover pipe plug (2)
-
The ECT sensor (4) and gasket (5)
-
The throttle body inlet heater hose fitting (3)
Installation Procedure
Notice:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the following components to the water crossover (1) if previously removed:

The ECT sensor (4) and gasket (5)

Tighten the ECT sensor to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

The throttle body inlet heater hose fitting (3)
-
Tighten the throttle body inlet heater hose fitting to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

The water crossover pipe plug (2)
-
Tighten the water crossover pipe plug to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
