3. Install the fasteners in order to secure the rear compartment lid hinge to the rear compartment lid.

Tighten the fasteners to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

4. Install the rear compartment lid strut rod. Refer toRear Compartment Lid Strut Replacement (Coupe/Sedan)   (See: Trunk / Liftgate Shock /

Support/Service and Repair) .

5. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer toRear Compartment Lid Replacement   (See: Service and Repair) .
6. Check and adjust the rear compartment lid as necessary. Refer toRear Compartment Lid Adjustment   (See: Adjustments) .
7. Close the rear compartment.
