3. Important: Install a new seal on the power steering pressure hose before installing to the power steering gear.
Connect the power steering pressure hose to the power steering gear.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the power steering pressure hose fitting to the power steering pump.
Tighten the hose to pump fitting to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
6. Important: When installing the power steering pressure hose into the power steering pump a distinct click should be heard when the hose is fully
seated.
Connect the power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump.
7. Install the power steering pressure hose retaining bolt to the generator.

Tighten the hose to generator retaining bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).

Tighten the hose to the cradle retaining bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).

Tighten the hose to gear fittings to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the air cleaner assembly.
9. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
10. Bleed the power steering system.
11. Install the front air deflector.
