CTS V8-5.7L VIN P (2004)
1. Install the ignition coil or coil assembly.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the ignition coil mounting bolts and/or nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the ignition coil-to-bracket bolts/nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the ignition coil bracket-to-valve rocker arm cover bolts to bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
3. Connect the spark plug wires at the ignition coils.
4. Connect the individual ignition coil or main coil harness connector.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
